Dumfries 2nd XV won an excellent victory over a team that beat them twice last season. Particularly impressive was the contribution by the young players from last years colts with Gregory Robinson scoring 2 tries, the other try scorers were Bruce Haggerty and David Steele, with David also kicking a penalty and a conversion. A terrific start to what will be a very competitive league.
