This weekend the Colts team have accepted an invitation to play in the Border Cup, which is a big compliment to the players and coaching team. Their first round opponents at Park Farm are Selkirk Youth Club who currently sit second in the Border Semi Junior league.

Saints coach Micky Hunt is upbeat about the fixture. He said, “These are exactly the type of games our players need to improve even further but it will be a challenge for us as we have seven players away on Glasgow District duty”. Hunt continued, “This is a great opportunity for our younger players to step up, gain valuable experience and lay down claims for starting places in the side”

The game kicks off at 1.45 p.m. and players are to meet at Park Farm at 12.30 p.m.
