Another Colt into Scottish U18 squad

A third Dumfries youngster, Scott Steele has been called up to the Scottish U18 squad for this weekend’s game against the Japan Schools side and the forthcoming Home Nations International series.

He had been listed by the SRU as "not considered because of injury" when the squad was originally announced. Scott.. pictured below, who was last season’s Scottish U17 scrumhalf,  is currently attending Merchiston Academy in Edinburgh,. The initial despair of seeing his chances of selection this year had gone following injury. Luckily his injury has now cleared up and he passed a stringent fitness test  clearing the way for his inclusion
