Mini’s v Oban, Warriers Game, Firhill, Sunday 27th December

There will be training at Park Farm this Sunday, 20 December from 10am. Remember to bring suitable footwear, water and gum guard.

Training for Primary 4 – Primary 6 players on Monday, 21 December at KGV MUGA 6.30 – 7.30pm. Again, wear suitable footwear and clothing. This is the last training of 2009. These training sessions will recommence on Monday, 11 January 2010 at the usual time.

Primary 6 & Primary 7 teams game at Firhill Arena, on Sunday, 27 December.

Dumfries Saints mini rugby Primary 6 and Primary 7 teams have been invited to provide the half time entertainment for Glasgow Warriors against Edinburgh Rugby in their home tie of the 1872 Cup. The boys will play Oban Lorne during the half time interval. This is a great honour for the boys and for the club to be invited to take part in this prestigious game. A crowd of around 10,000 is expected on the day. Along with our teams will be a large travelling support of family and friends. Remember to bring the camera and autograph book! It promises to be a great day for all concerned.

Kick off at Firhill is 15:05. Tickets are available to purchase in advance via the Dumfries Saints or on the day.

Our teams have been training for this game for some time and look forward to putting on a good display of flowing rugby.
Primary 6 & 7 Players to report to Park Farm at 12 noon. We will travel by mini bus to the arena. Remember to bring match kit, including gum guard and water.

Primary 7 squad will be:

Primary 6 squad will be:

Aidan Currie, Andrew Little, Chris McBride, Declan Wilson, Ewan Kennedy, Fraser Henry, Jack Austin, Jack Currie, Robert Neill, Rory Hanson, Ross Hair and Shaun McLachlan.
