Saints were missing captain Ewan Miller but the return of Rory Steele to partner his brother Jack in the centres was a welcome boost.


Saints started well and scored inside 5 minutes through Bobby Douglas finishing well out wide to continue his try scoring form. Converted by Rory Steele. Saints were piling on the pressure and this resulted in a penalty in front of the posts which Rory Steele converted to make it 10-0. Saints scored again on ten minutes through 13 Jack Steele with brother Rory converting. 17-0. Falkirk rallied and scored a pick and go by number 8 to make it 17-7. Further tries from 6 JP Thompson and 10 Jordan Kerr extended Saints lead to 30-7 and Falkirk ended the half with a try to make it 30-12 at half time.


The second half was only minutes old when Rory Steele broke through to score his first try of the afternoon which he converted. 10 minutes later Rory scores again to make it 42-17. Further tries from winger Rob Neill and Craig Goldie made it 59-17. Winger Rob Neill got his 3rd of the afternoon. Converted by Rory Steele. Another try was scored by Andrew Whiteford and converted by Alan Birdsall. A final try by Bobby Douglas made the final score 72-12.
