Whitecraigs

As the sun shone on Park Farm on Sunday the Saints Under 15 side entertained Whitecraigs.

After an exchange of kicks Saints broke away on the right wing, Elliot Gorman flicked a pass out wide to Corey Kempsell who stretched out to score his first club try in the corner. The Saints scrum was very powerful once again with front row Fergus Hiddleston, Nathan Brown and Connor Lynch like anchors. Captain Gavin Wilson broke through the line after BJ Cowley passed to score in the opposite corner. Cailin (Usain Bolt) Renwick scored underneath the post with a trade mark blistering run after a great move from Jack Bain. Lock Adrian Robinson had a fantastic day in the second row picking up a fumbled ball and crashing over the line. Andrew Little converted. Gareth McHugh was picked out by scrum half Jack Roberts who made a break of 30 metres and as he was tackled he passed to Gavin to score. A text book training move saw a Jack Roberts pick and go from the scrum and with No 8 Scott McLellan on his left, Jack flicked the pass to him. Scott then broke 3 tackles to score in the corner. Robert Clyde and Fraser Morton were magnificent in helping Scott to a 4 try haul. Finn Mitchell worked hard all day in the second row with bruising runs helping set up some great tries for Scott. All in all a fantastic result.
