Saints v. Annan

Another great attack from Saints - with great support work from the whole squadChris Wicks chipped over the defender caught the ball ran on to score. An excellent try.Annan challenged well for every lineout Great rugby despite the poor conditions

 

The 2nds match was much better than the score suggests.  The pitch was particularly muddy – but both teams have to be congratulated for the way they coped with the dreadful underfoot conditions.Under severe pressure - the Annan squad began to wilt in the 2nd half - but they have to be congratulated for their efforts

 

 

 

 

Another good attacking move from Saints in the 1st half

The Senior XV game was much closer -with the home side pressing hard for long periods.  Saints strength eventually won through in a good running game.Saints pressing hard through a break

A strong solo breakthrough almost led to another Saints score
