Saints have introduced a Player of the Month Award.

It will be awarded to the player who has shown the highest level of commitment and performance over the month both in first team matches and the training field.

For the Month of September 2010 it was awarded to James Currie. James has never missed a training session and been an ever present in the side. Willing to play second row, blindside or number 8 he has never complained and just got on with anything asked of him. Allied to this were two man of the match performances.

The award is sponsored by SMG Financial Services and Barbours of Dumfries, James received a £100 Barbours voucher!
