Dumfries Saints are now well into their pre season training programme with excellent turn outs and lots of sweat and tears! Club CDO Barry maddocks has been putting the squad through a gruelling programme with up the 40 players now having taken part.

Director of Rugby Russell Marchant says "it has been great to watch! Lots of effort going in and I am sure we will see the rewards. We will start to see some disruption over the next few weeks as the Dumfries and Lockerbie Agricultural Show takes over the fields but we will work around that. Thursday 31st July will be a beach session with everyone encouraged to come along and enjoy the session and beach BBQ to follow."

Several youngsters have joined the senior squad after graduating from the Junior Section and more are appearing at every session. New players are very welcome, of all standards and should meet at Park Farm on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6.45pm.
