Summer Touch Rugby

Ever fancied trying your hand a touch rugby, the non contact version of the sport? Dumfries Saints are running touch rugby sessions every Wednesday evening throughout the summer on the banks of the River Nith next to the Robert Burns Centre. The sessions run from 5.30pm to 7.00pm and you can join in at any time.

You can come as a individual or a team of four, everyone will get a go. It’s for all age groups and both sexes, youngsters and grannies! No rugby boots required trainers are ideal.

Saints Summer Academy

Dumfries Saints rugby club is running a summer academy every Monday night throughout the summer at Park Farm.

For youngsters in the under 13 to under 15 age group the session run from 4.30pm to 5.45pm, this is followed by the under 16s to under 18s from 5.45pm to 7.00pm. The focus of the sessions will be an introduction to rugby and preparation for the next season. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge, so if you want to have a go come along, you don’t need to be a member of the club or have any previous experience!
