Minis Season 2010-11
Please contact Phil Hair, mini section coach on 07540 749997 or Rosie Hair on 07519 992710 if you require any further information.
Training for the mini section will be on Wednesdays at Park Farm 6pm - 7.30pm. This will continue until the clocks change in October when we will go to the MUGA at Sandside.
Although we were lucky to have a few new players come along; we still need to see some more at all age groups. Please bring along any friends who you think may be interested in playing.
Remember, new players don't have to pay their registration until they are sure they want to continue playing. Encourage your friends to come and give us a try!
We will be running a swap shop all season, so bring along any kit that you have grown out of and we can try to swap it for something you need. If you don't have anything to swap, you can still take away something by paying a token amount which will go towards mini funds.
We will also have a quick meeting after training this Sunday, 5th September to talk about our plans for the coming season. On the agenda will be mini section tour, fund raising, fees, game at Firhill, home and away matches etc. This should take no more than an hour and it would be great to see you there.
Yes, it's that time again!
We will be kicking off the new season with a registration and fun day at Park Farm on Sunday, 29 August at 10am.
If you wish, you may download a Players Registration form for the coming season using the following link
http://www.dumfriessaintsrugby.co.uk/assets/junior%20membership%202010-11(3).pdf
Membership fee for this year is £35 with a £4 match fee for each match played. Please bring cash or cheque (payable to Dumfries Saints Rugby Club).
For the fun day; please wear training gear and trainers and come prepared for the weather. No water pistols required!
We need lots of new players again this season at all age groups and I would ask that everyone bring at least one friend to introduce them to rugby. They won't need to register and pay. All they need to do is come along, join in and have fun. Boys and Girls from Primary 4 - Primary 7 are always welcome.
Also, If you have any kit that no longer fits then bring it along. We will be running a "swap shop" for all outgrown kit; shorts, tops, boots, underarmour etc. If you don't have anything to swap, then you can make a small donation to the mini section funds to take away some kit. Any outgrown kit welcome, it doesn't have to be Dumfries Saints either, as long as it's in good condition and clean.
Training will continue on a Wednesday night at Burns Centre, Dumfries with Bosman Du Plessis, our Development Officer, from 5.30 to 7pm and start again on Sundays 10am from 5 September at Park Farm.
