Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner, which was a sellout, was held on Friday 5th May at Park Farm. Guest speakers were Ed Barnes, Head Coach who gave an emotive Toast to the Club and Doddie Weir, former Scottish internationalist and British and Irish Lion, who toasted the game with much hilarity and a great passion for rugby.
An excellent meal was served up by Colin Watson and his team and the bar staff did a sterling job keeping the drinks topped up.

The raffle and auction raised £1000 for Murrayfield Injured Players’ Foundation.
The auctioned Scottish rugby jersey, signed by the Scottish team, was won by
Danny McDougall of McDougall Commercials Ltd.
Thank you to all the bidders.

It was farewell night for Ed Barnes, Saints Head Coach. He coached the team to National 2 and is now off home to Ireland before contemplating his next career move. We wish Ed and Aine all the best for the future.
